Cooper Simmons

The Short Version

11 years of elevators. Then I picked up a keyboard.

I spent over a decade in the elevator industry. Sales, service, modernization. I worked in Manhattan, Queens, across Connecticut. I drove to job sites at 6 AM, crawled through machine rooms, wrote proposals on my truck's center console.

Somewhere along the way, I started building things on the side. First it was a podcast. Then an industry resource site. Then an iOS app, and more websites after that. I realized I was spending my nights doing the thing most people in my position would hire out. And I was good at it.

Now I build websites for businesses like the ones I used to work alongside. Plumbers, electricians, contractors, property managers. I know what it's like to run on referrals and wonder if your website is actually doing anything for you. (Spoiler: it probably isn't. But it could be.)

How It Works

No discovery calls. No mood boards. Just work.

1

I build your site before we talk.

You tell me about your business. I go build a real website for it. Not a mockup, not a wireframe. A working site you can click through on your phone. If you like it, we move forward. If not, you've lost nothing.

2

Flat rate. No contracts.

One price, paid once. You own the site. If you want me to host it and keep it updated, that's a small monthly fee. But there's no lock-in. You can leave whenever you want (and take your site with you).

3

I answer my phone.

You're not hiring an agency with an intake form and a 3-week turnaround. It's just me. One person who knows your site inside and out. You text me, I text back.

A Few More Things

The stuff that doesn't fit in a headline.

  • Based in Norwalk, CT. Born and raised in Fairfield.
I know the area because I've lived here my whole life.
  • I also run ElevatorBlueprint.com, an industry resource for property managers and elevator professionals.
  • I co-host the Elevated Thoughts podcast.
It's a political podcast, which has nothing to do with web design, but it keeps me sharp.
  • I text back faster than I email. (203) 763-9310.
